OK, so I went away for a while . . . in truth I needed to recharge my creative energies and do some research abroad so that, hopefully, I can continue to write stories that make you feel like you’re right there with me. Yup, I said goodbye to the normal everyday for some exhilarating adventure . . . Mags would have been so proud!
I started my Mags approved journey with a whirlwind trip of a lifetime, taking my mother to Rome, Tuscany, Paris, and finishing off with a road trip through Ireland (I could write an entire book on the tiny cliff side, one-track/two-way traffic—it was nuts . . . gorgeous . . . but really, really nuts—especially for my first time driving in Ireland). Here’s a quick taste . . . if you’re interested in a few wee stories join the Readers Group I’ll be sharing a lot more about the intimate details (like how after Mom went home I went to Scotland for book research . . . and danced and danced and danced . . . and somehow . . . sort of . . . FELL IN LOVE WITH A SCOT)! Yup, I didn’t see it coming . . . clearly the Universe was involved. . . . =)
